The brief
To create a winning brand for a cutting edge motor sports business that positions them as an innovator in the marketing & technology sector whilst being informed by, and relevant to, a motor sports audience.
The Scott Racing brand had to be at home and work effectively both on screen as the masthead of the client facing website as well as adorning the side of racing cars. It had to communicate the expertise and industry-leading technology that Scott Racing can deliver, as well as being exciting, bold and suitable for a motorsport brand. Our design solution uses a hand built icon that blends the initials of the company with a checkered flag element, a colour palette that is traditionally associated with motor sport, tempered with a simple sans serif typeface called (rather appropriately) Roadgeek, to add a modern commercial yet corporate feel.
The website rolls out the theme with the use of textures, colours and images directly associated with motor racing and combined with clean, accessible and simple page layouts is easy to navigate and quick to load.
The site features a full content management system allowing the team at Scott Racing to update and add content quickly and has been built to stringent accessibility and web standards, the website is an integral component in the Scott Racing operation and fulfills its role as point of contact and reference for clients.
